POLLINATOR GARDEN S.O.S.!
The Pollinator Pathway Group took on a big project with a Pollinate TO Grant, to create a 200’ x 8’ Pollinator Garden on a pathway connecting the Danforth Gardens and Oates Park Neighbourhoods.
We have run into a few stumbling blocks and are struggling
with getting the project completed on time, so we are calling all pollinator
groups, pollinator gardeners, friends of pollinators and anyone that wants to
help weed and plant the garden. No experience necessary; just a willingness to
help.
We are having a Pollinator Garden Blitz and we are inviting you to join us!

9:00am – 4:00pm
Pollinator Pathway: Pilkington to Santamonica
74 Santamonica Blvd. in Scarborough.
Weeding from 9:00am – 12:00pm
Lunch from 12:00pm – 1:00pm (Bring your own lunch with dessert
provided from La Bastille Bakery)
Planting from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
Some tools and gloves will be provided but please bring your
own labelled tools if you can, including shovels, spades, rakes, hoes,
clippers, snippers, saws, garden trowels and gloves. Stay for as long as you
are able; even one hour will be a help.
