Danforth Gardens Earth Day Clean Up & Pop Can Races
Danforth Gardens
Neighbourhood Association is inviting all neighbourhood residents and families
to help clean up garbage in the Massey Creek at St. Clair Ravine on Sunday April 28,
2019.
Residents and
families of the Danforth Gardens Neighbourhood Association will be meeting in
St. Clair Ravine Park from 9:30am – 12:30pm to clean up the park. St. Clair Ravine Park runs between Birchmount
Rd. and Warden Ave. immediately north and parallel to St. Clair Ave. Meet up at
the bridge in the middle of the park just down the toboggan hill south of the
cul-de-sac on Anaconda Ave. Bags and
gloves will be provided.
This is a great way
to help the environment, explore our lovely local ravine and Massey Creek while
participating in a fun outing with the family.
Neighbours, residents of local neighbourhoods and the general public are
all welcome to participate.
All participants are invited to a community
picnic and the Second Annual Creek Pop Can Race following the clean up at
12:00pm. Bring your own blanket and food for the picnic and an empty drink can
and a stick of gum for the pop can races and we’ll provide the fun.
