Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) – February 2016 Minutes

You may not be aware that the community and the police have a close connection and communication through the Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC).

This committee is comprised of local citizens, private businesses, BIAs, neighbourhood associations, social service agencies and the like, working with 41 Division to keep up to date on community happenings and issues. Danforth Gardens Neighbourhood Association (DGNA) has a representative at these monthly meetings.

The meetings take place on the last Monday of each month generally at McGregor Park Community Centre unless otherwise posted from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  Everyone is welcomed to join in the meetings. After three meetings, you may apply to become a registered CPLC member.

The Police and the Community need to work together to ensure the safety of our families, homes and properties, to improve communication.  The following is the first in an ongoing series of Minutes from the monthly CPLC meetings.
